Liquorland were selling mixed 6 bottles of Mumm Coudon Rouge Brut NV for 34.99 last weekend so I phoned Dan Murphys and asked them about price matching and put me through to the local store manager. He said that he would ring them when I arrived and if they confirmed the price he would match it. Apparently Liquorland’s online prices and store prices are independent. Dan Murphy’s would not match an online price. I phoned through to Liquorland myself and queried the prices of their stores and their online pricing, and they confirmed they use different specials online. Interestingly enough the price of the Mumm online @ LL went up to the SAME price the stores were offering it the following day. Coincidence? hmm.
Even more interestingly today the price of Mumm Brut NV is now selling at Dan Murphys at 34.20 for a mixed 6 and 36.00 per bottle. Perhaps the complaint that you put through has made an impact???
